I don’t think I’ve ever talked about Mimi’s Greenhouse here on my blog. Maybe it’s about time.
Long ago and far away, in another life, I had a big commercial greenhouse in Robertson County, TN. It was called Sunlight Farm. I grew and sold quite a large variety of plants but I specialized in Hosta and Clematis vines. Well, a few years after starting that business, life happened and I found myself single again after 25 years of marriage. I sold the farm and greenhouse and went to work. I had a great job, traveled all over the continent met some really great folks and bought a little house in the city of White House, TN.
I remarried and moved into Bill’s big house in Hendersonville, TN. I kept my house and my pretty gardens in White House. Bill is an artist but not a gardener and I missed my little house with the big gardens. I talked Bill into selling his big house and moving us back to White House.

I later added another small greenhouse and we built a large art studio/office so we could have a place to check folks out and do all the computer work required.
Mimi's is open every spring from the middle of April to the first weekend in June. I sell a large variety of perennials, annuals, herbs, hanging baskets, shrubs, and hosta.
Our first sale this year starts this weekend, April 12/13. Hours are 9:00 - 4:00. Come see me if you are near White House, TN 219 Robert Ave...watch for the plant sale signs! Here are a few pictures from past sales and some of the plants we sell:
