Christmas/Thanksgiving Cactus' Spectacular Blooms

Red
I know I've posted about these plants before but every year they get more beautiful and I keep finding new colors too. I leave them (outside until frost is predicted  By then they have set buds and begin to bloom within a couple of weeks. In my zone 7 this is at Thanksgiving. The picture above was taken the day before Thanksgiving 2016 There are white (almost done blooming), red and hot pink in the containers. I also have a golden that I left in the greenhouse because I'm propagating it. Proper name is Schlumbergera. Soon I will have Easter cactus (Hatiora) for sale in the greenhouse too - they bloom in the spring and a beautiful!
